Kenneth Kim M.D.
Dr. Kenneth Kim, a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard College and received his MD from
Harvard Medical School. Following a health policy fellowship at the MIT Sloan School of Management, he completed his internal medicine and allergy/immunology training at UCLA. His research career first started in the area of latex allergy, where he helped develop two FDA approved blood tests used to diagnose latex allergy. He helped write some of the first hospital latex safe hospital policies which became the standard within a few years throughout the country.
As a founder and CEO of WCCT Global LLC*, he grew a 200+ employee clinical research organization (CRO), which specializes in early phase global drug development based in the United States headquartered in Cypress, CA. In 2016, he transitioned to become WCCT Global’s Chief Medical Officer, and in 2017, he founded Ark Clinical Research LLC, an outpatient based clinical trial site specializing in respiratory, infectious disease, and internal medicine outpatient studies. Dr Kim has met key decision makers at the SFDA (China’s regulatory agency), PMDA (Japan’s regulatory agency), and the FDA. Dr. Kim also has extensive experience in conducting pediatric trials, having presented recommendations to the FDA on pediatric strategies for dose selection and study design for pediatric trials and served as a medical monitor, consultant, or investigator on over 700 clinical trials. He has published over 31 research articles and over 50 abstracts in peer reviewed journals. He has spoken at multiple national and international
conferences. He is a well-recognized expert in the areas of clinical pharmacology, ethnobridging, and respiratory and allergic diseases. He has presented to the FDA on challenges and strategies of dose selection and study design for pediatric trials and met key decision makers at the PMDA, SFDA, and KFDA. He has spoken at multiple national and international meetings and is a well recognized expert in the areas of clinical pharmacology, ethnobridging, and respiratory and allergic diseases. He is preventative and always using his resources to be innovative.
