Experienced COVID-19 symptoms within the past 3 days?

Local researchers are looking for adults who have experienced COVID symptoms within the past 3 days to volunteer for a clinical research study. The Beacon Study is researching how safe an investigational device is and whether it may speed up recovery in people with COVID-19.

You may be eligible for the Beacon Study if you:

• are 40 years of age or older

​

• have at least 2 of the following COVID-19 signs and symptoms:

  • cough, sore throat, nasal congestion (blocked nose), headache, chills and/or sweats, myalgia (muscle aches or pain), fatigue, nausea (with or without vomiting), or

  • one of the above symptoms and fever

​

• experienced your first COVID-19 sign or symptom within 72 hours prior to study enrollment
