Ark Clinical Research is well-poised to conduct vaccine clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, and universities. As a clinical research site, we are fully capable of conducting first-in-human studies of novel and preventive and therapeutic approaches to address viral illnesses and other infections. Our investigators and clinical staff have extensive experience and training and immunology and vaccine administration, with an emphasis in conducting research in the development of vaccines for influenza. Our focus is on using statistical and modeling approaches towards the design and analysis of clinical vaccine studies, with consideration for vaccine efficacy and studying disease transmission.

Clinical development of vaccines pose a unique challenge in that there is more often than not an immediate need to reduce time to market, and seasonal constraints are the main factor in determining deadlines. It is difficult to reduce timelines in clinical development of vaccines and production. However, Ark Clinical Research is capable of responding to many of the time-dependent operational processes involved in vaccine clinical development. One such method of responding to the needs of these types of programs is through the rapid enrollment of research volunteers willing to participate in vaccine clinical studies.
